With a background in computer science, I have strong programming skills while my background in mathematics provides me with the analytic skills. I'm in for a challenge and eager to learn. I am able to quickly feel comfortable in new environments (and programming languages) in order to focus on the problem at hand and go in-depth.

How can you make your data story clear and transparent?
Visuals are there to support the story and so are secondary. Yes, a picture might capture a thousand words, but it serves the story. The story needs to have a clear structure and build-up. The pyramid principle is one of the ways in which a story can helpfully be structured.

How can you address underfitting in linear regression?
I would start with the why: what are we trying to solve for? So we start with the understanding of the problem. We have a dataset, is this the appropriate data to address the question or problem? We need an understanding of the data. These are two departure points that should inform whether and to what extent the assumptions are satisfied.
